We are a team of enthusiastic guides who combine our sensitivity to architecture, history, symbolism and cultural mediation.

This collaborative project, initiated in 1979 by the Présence à Vézelay association, took off in full swing with the Maison du Visiteur, which has been welcoming visitors of all ages and origins for over 20 years.
When we opened the Maison du Visiteur in 2003, we opted for an educational approach based on human relations. By making the stones speak, by questioning the visitor's way of seeing things, by delving into the roots of this medieval art of building, the guide initiates a creative, lively dialogue that is adapted to suit all ages and expectations.

Through this shared approach to knowledge and experience, visitors can discover founding stories that mirror key moments in their own history. We are committed to promoting ethical tourism on a human scale.
