Brought up on the Welsh border and educated in England, he has been living in Vézelay for the last fifteen years. He gives tours of Vézelay and its Basilica in French and English throughout the year.
Passionate about Romanesque art, he invites visitors to taste the richness of the Romanesque symbolism inscribed in the architecture of the Basilica with its play of light, and the timeless messages inscribed in its sculpture... the opportunity to enter the symbolic language of this heritage and to experience its relevance.
He can also accompany his visitors to other gems in the region such as the Abbaye de Fontenay, another nearby UNESCO World Heritage Site.
